Early morning walks here in the mountains are often foggy and damp. And now, in mid-August, the birds are already heading south. Walks are much more quiet than in early summer when birdsong begins before dawn.

A lovely "welcome to Latchet" packet arrived in the mail yesterday. A very nice surprise!! I'm looking forward to our future together.

And now... it's time to get back to the studio and create art!
